Privacy policy

Data controller
MARKOVIC TECHNOLOGIES (entrepreneur individuel: Nikola Markovic), 117 Avenue de Soissons, 02400 Château-Thierry, France, reachable at contact@markovictechnologies.com, for your account data and the website.
Your data
- Account: email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text) and preferred language.
- Landlord details: name, address, place of signature and, if you enter them, your payment details (for example an IBAN), which appear on your documents.
- Rental management: your properties, leases, rents, payments, rent increases, charge statements, expenses and inventories.
- Files: the documents you upload to the document safe (lease, surveys, invoices…) and inventory photos. Photos are resized and their metadata (including GPS location) is removed on upload.
- Subscription payment: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Audience measurement, only if you accept it: pages viewed on the public website, visit length, device type, approximate country, through Google Analytics.
No connection to your bank, no selling of data. The app's pages are never measured.
Your tenants' data
When you record a tenant (name, email address, rent amounts, payments), you, the landlord, are the controller of that processing: it's used to manage your rental and meet your obligations (receipts, rent increases, reconciliation). Loyski acts on your behalf, as a processor within the meaning of article 28 of the GDPR: we only use this data to provide the service to you (calculations, documents, sending the emails you request), we don't use it for ourselves and we don't share it with anyone apart from the sub-processors listed below.
Tenant space: if you open it, your tenant accesses their rent dates, receipts and the documents you choose to share through a private link; they can report a payment and upload their insurance certificate (file kept in your document safe). You can revoke the link at any time. Your calendar link works the same way.
Your tenants can exercise their rights with you; we help you answer on request. Emails sent to a tenant show your name and let them reply to you directly. Only email receipts with your tenant's consent, as article 21 of the French law of 6 July 1989 requires.
Purposes and legal basis
Providing the service (performance of the contract), managing the subscription (performance of the contract, accounting obligations), sending you emails about your account and your rents (performance of the contract) and, unless you object, a few reminders and tips (legitimate interest, one-click unsubscribe). Measuring website traffic: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep data
As long as your account exists. Everything is deleted immediately when you delete your account, except subscription invoices, which the law requires us to keep for 10 years. Traffic statistics are kept for 14 months in Google Analytics. Technical email-sending records (date, recipient, document type) are deleted with the account.
Recipients and sub-processors
Data is hosted in Europe. Our sub-processors:
- OVH SAS (France): hosting of the website and database, on servers located in Europe.
- Scaleway SAS (France): sending emails (address confirmation, rent reminders, receipts and letters sent to your tenants).
- Stripe: subscription payments. Stripe processes your payment details; we never have access to them.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland): audience measurement with Google Analytics, only if you accept it. This data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Google's advertising signals are turned off.
IRL values are fetched from INSEE by our servers: no personal data is sent to it. Fonts are hosted on our own servers.
Landlord kit sent by email
If you leave your address to receive the landlord kit without creating an account, we use it to send you the kit, then at most two emails with tips about Loyski, and only if you opened the link in the first email. Legal basis: your consent, which you withdraw in one click from any email. The address is deleted after 30 days if you didn't open the link, and in any case 6 months after your request.

On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent to audience measurement. You can accept, refuse just as easily, or customise. Your choice is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of each page.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability (the "Download all my data" button in My account), restriction and objection: write to contact@markovictechnologies.com. You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or to the authority in your country.
